Better Life Provides attendant service too many severely disabled persons at their homes for their daily works like eating, toileting, shifting, and cloth changing on daily basis. As PWDs are considered as burden on parents or family members due to their dependency on them. Anyone among parents or other family members who are looking after their disabled child could not focus on their livelihood as some of the PWDs need 24/7 attendant for them due to their nature of disability that’s why family members who are attending such person with disabilities could not give time to their earning for their personal life or they could not give priority to their life from any perspective.

So Better Life develop a team of trained attendants among the local masses. They are trained to hire as personal attendants of PWDs having severe disabilities to assist them with their daily tasks such as personal care, toileting, obtaining and organizing medication, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, essential transportation and correspondence. Any family members or maids can be trained as attendants and this service could be a major source of their livelihood.

Volunteers are getting registered for outdoor services like going to hospital, shopping and family functions. Many people want to use this service for the daily work of PWDs as their parents and family members not able to work of their disabled children. Now this service has started in District Bahawalnagar for severely disabled Persons.
